SITE SUPERINTENDENT – GTA

O.N. Site Construction Inc. has been delivering general contracting and project management services across Canada since 2005. With projects across the GTA, Northern Ontario, Manitoba, BC, and Alberta, we manage everything from small interior renovations to multi-million-dollar builds. Our approach is grounded in service, safety, and sustainability, with a focus on quality workmanship and exceptional client care.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a Site Superintendent in the GTA who is hands-on, proactive, and skilled at managing multiple projects, trades, and stakeholders on-site.

What’s the Role

As a Site Superintendent, you will:

Project Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day on-site construction activities, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams, maintaining clear communication with the Project Manager
  • Review and interpret architectural, mechanical, and structural drawings
  • Monitor scope, schedule, and performance of all trades to ensure client expectations are met
  • Enforce site safety protocols and Ministry of Labour regulations
  • Maintain worksite cleanliness and organization
  • Perform hands-on work when needed (demolition, carpentry, general construction support)
  • Anticipate issues, problem-solve proactively, and report progress to Senior Management
  • Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and trades

Qualifications & Expectations

  • 3–5+ years of on-site construction supervision experience
  • Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Architectural Science, or Engineering is preferred
  • Experience in commercial or interior fit-out projects
  • Proficient in reading blueprints, drawings, and construction documents
  • Strong understanding of construction procedures, materials, and specifications
  • Knowledge of Ontario Occupational Health & Safety regulations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
  • Experience in financial services or restaurant industry projects is a plus
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and occasional out-of-province travel
