Position: Delivery Team Leader / Heavy Truck Driver (Seasonal)
Term: October - December (2–3 Months)
Compensation: $25.00 – $28.00 / hour
Location: Markham (Victoria Park/Steeles)

We are a thriving tire storage company looking for self-motivated, hard-working individuals to join our team for our peak spring changeover season. If you are a reliable leader who thrives in a fast-paced, highly physical environment, we want to hear from you.

Role Overview:
As a Delivery Team Leader, you will oversee and execute daily deliveries. This is a labor-intensive role where you will drive our delivery vehicles, lead a small team, and assist in our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving & Leadership: Safely operate heavy-duty delivery trucks and lead team members on daily delivery routes.
  • Loading & Unloading: Hand-load and unload delivery trucks alongside team members.
  • Warehouse Support: Assist the warehouse team with internal inventory, stacking, and organizing once daily delivery routes are completed.

Physical Demands & Occupational Requirements:
This position requires high physical capability and manual dexterity:

  • Frequent lifting and moving of tires mounted on rims (ranging from size R15 up to R24).
  • Must be capable of repeatedly lifting up to 50 lbs and tilting/maneuvering assemblies up to 100 lbs.
  • Must be able to manage, balance, and roll specialized tire carts loaded with tire sets stacked up to 8 tires high.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional experience driving heavy-duty trucks.
  • License: Valid driver’s license with a clean commercial driving abstract.
  • Insurance Mandate: Must be 25 years of age or older to meet our commercial auto insurance policy requirements.
  • Traits: Strong work ethic, reliable, self-motivated, and capable of leading a small team efficiently.

Work Hours & Schedule:

  • Shift: 5 days a week, scheduled between Monday and Saturday.
  • Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Includes a 1-hour lunch break).
  • Note: Team members will rotate Saturday shifts

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
