Full job description

The Narmco Group is an industry leader in the automotive industry for metal stamping and assembly. As a result of continuously growing our professional team, we have a challenging career opportunity for a Paint Lab Technician. The candidate for this position shall be responsible for performing all activities related to our corrosion laboratory.

Wage for this position: $22.00 to $24.00

Job Summary

  • Perform all testing related to corrosion lab – including Salt Spray Testing, Humidity Testing, Water Immersion Testing, Gravelometer Testing, and Impact Testing
  • Perform calibration of all laboratory test equipment and/or the scheduling of the above equipment to be calibrated by an outside source
  • Perform administrations functions such as charting, reporting, lab testing, calibration log maintenance, training and document control
  • Assist with various Paint Department maintenance functions using preventive maintenance procedures as outlined.

Job Requirements

  • University Engineering degree with a focus on Chemical Engineering or Chemical Technology Diploma or related education/experience
  • 1-3 years related lab experience – recent graduates from post-secondary educational programs are welcome to apply
  • Demonstrated experience must contain strong organizational, communication, administrative and time management skills
