Full job description

Neegan Technical Services is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who is safety-focused, organized, and able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Make safety a first priority and follow all Safe Work Practices and Procedures
  • Wear appropriate PPE for all tasks
  • Safely lift and carry items weighing 20 lbs or more
  • Analyze samples accurately, safely, and within required timelines
  • Ensure all data is entered accurately and correctly
  • Organize and pre-weigh appropriate sample bottles prior to sample runs
  • Complete and sign FLRAs daily with all team members
  • Report hazardous conditions and near misses to the Supervisor
  • Perform additional duties as required


Qualifications

  • CSTS and OSSA or BSO certificates
  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry preferred; College Certificate/Diploma in Science or a related field considered
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and computer skills
  • Ability to work shifts
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
