Full job description

We are a leading research and manufacturing company for natural health products such as botanical extracts, dietary supplements, vitamins and minerals. Our state-of-the-art facility is located in Metro Vancouver, B.C. We dedicate our research and development efforts into the analytical methods of accurate identification and quantification for Natural Health Products. We have the capacity to formulate and manufacture natural health products directly from raw materials into various types of products. Our manufacturing service includes capsules, tablets, liquids and powder products, soft gels and granules.

We are looking for: QA/QC Assistant

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: $3,200.00-$3,800.00 per month

Job Description:

  • Quality control testing on all finished and semi-finished products as well as raw materials
  • Development and validation of analytical test methods
  • Investigate and troubleshoot problems with products and analytical methods
  • Plan, coordinate and document any information and findings in daily logs and records
  • Participate in different teams to help resolve problems
  • Draft technical documentations such as product specifications and product reports etc.
  • Preparation of documents such as SOPs, product statements and production records.
  • Ensure company and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements are followed
  • Drafting and checking specification and product release documentation.

Requirements:.

  • Able to easily handle and operate analytical lab equipment
  • Previous experience in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) setting is an asset.
  • GMP and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) training will be provided successful applicants
  • Minimum education requirement: Bachelors. Masters degree preferred.
