  • Support process control, product quality, environmental monitoring, and metallurgical performance through reliable laboratory data and interpretation.
  • Prepare standards, reagents, blanks, duplicates, spikes, and control samples in accordance with quality assurance and quality control requirements.
  • Maintain accurate laboratory records, reports, worksheets, calibration logs, and certificates of analysis.
  • Assist with method development, method validation, procedure updates, and continuous improvement initiatives within the laboratory.
  • Ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals, reagents, samples, and hazardous materials.
  • Follow all company policies, laboratory procedures, environmental requirements, and Occupational Health and Safety standards.
  • Participate in incident investigations, audits, inspections, risk assessments, and corrective action follow-up as required.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to laboratory technicians, students, or other team members when needed.
