Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Agency Contract
Qualicum Beach, BC
***Must be licensed with BCCNM***
Contract • Full-time or Casual
We are seeking compassionate LPNs for agency assignments in Qualicum Beach. Working under the direction of the Director of Care, you will provide hands-on nursing care, support daily living activities, and contribute to resident-focused programs that promote dignity, comfort, and quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Resident admissions, discharges, and transfers
  • Nursing assessments and care planning
  • Medication administration, treatments, wound care
  • Electronic charting (PointClickCare) & MDS
  • Collaboration with physicians, families, and care teams
  • Palliative care
  • Delegation to unregulated care staff
  • Accurate documentation and workload organization

Requirements
  • Current BCCNM LPN registration
  • CPR/AED/First Aid
  • Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
  • 1+ year recent experience in LTC, assisted living, or geriatrics
  • Proficient with electronic documentation/eMAR
  • Fully vaccinated
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation
Competitive hourly rates (approx. $85,000–$95,000 annually, based on hours worked)
