AlarmTek is rapidly expanding and we are seeking experienced Kotlin + Swift Developer with experience in both architecture, design, and ongoing app optimization to join our dynamic team. AlarmTek is searching for a results-driven individual who is able to take charge, work independently and problem solve to get the job done. Must-Have Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on native Android development experience, 3+ years of hands-on native iOS development experience
  • Strong expertise in Kotlin (primary language)
  • Strong expertise in Swift (secondary language)
  • Deep knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, Gradle, iOS SDK, Xcode, and Swift Package Manager (SPM) / CocoaPods
  • Solid experience with modern Android architecture:
  • MVVM / Clean Architecture
  • Jetpack Compose
  • Jetpack libraries: Coroutines + Flow, Hilt/Dagger (Dependency Injection), Room, Navigation Component, ViewModel, LiveData / StateFlow
  • SwiftUI
  • Swift frameworks: async/await + Combine, Dependency Injection (Swinject / Resolver), Core Data, Navigation, @State / @ObservedObject / @StateObject
  • Experience consuming RESTful APIs (Retrofit + OkHttp or similar)
  • Experience consuming RESTful APIs (URLSession or Alamofire)
  • Publishing apps on Google Play Store

Strongly Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Jetpack Compose production experience
  • Performance optimization, memory management, and ANR troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with Firebase, push notifications, offline-first apps
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • Glance widgets experience (Jetpack Glance)
  • WidgetKit experience
  • Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode experience
