Duties
- Assist in food preparation, including cutting, marinating, seasoning, and assembling ingredients for BBQ dishes
- Handle food safely by following proper hygiene practices and sanitation procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and organizing supplies
- Follow all food safety regulations and restaurant policies to uphold health standards
Skills
- Experience in serving or food service environments is advantageous
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques specific to BBQ cuisine is a plus
- Strong understanding of food handling procedures and safety protocols in a restaurant setting
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy hours
- Basic knowledge of meal preparation and food industry standards
- Prior kitchen experience or restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- FoodSafe Level 1 (required)
Pay: $17.85-$20.00 per hour
