Full job description

Royal Classic Kitchens is an established kitchens and cabinetry manufacturer in the GTA area. Having been in the field for over 10+ years, we have transformed many homes into dream homes. Reporting to the office manager, the designer will play a key role in representing Royal Classic Kitchens. Kitchen designers are to effectively communicate with customers to produce a design that is within the functional and stylish are all major components of the role. We are looking for a candidate that can start immediately.

Job Duties:

  • Communicate with customers about the design and fabrication in person or online in a professional and friendly manner
  • Develop shop drawings using AutoCAD and 2020Designs
  • Produce drawings with details for production and installation
  • Identify design risks and problem-solving design problems that may arise before production
  • Site measurements
  • Capable to manage multiple projects at once
  • Complete projects and tasks in a timely manner
  • Assisting lead designers in the executing deliverables and milestones

Requirements:

  • Degree or College Diploma in Interior Design
  • Sales experience preferred
  • Design experience preferred
  • Must be Proficient in AutoCAD
  • Strong computer (MS Word & Excel)
  • Excellent design and conceptual skills
  • Experience with 2020Design preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License

Language:

  • English
  • Mandarin (preferred)
  • Cantonese (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
