Cabinet Maker/Joiner
Experienced Cabinet Maker

We manufacture architectural millwork and fixtures for premier restaurant and retail brands across North America. For over 35 years, we have worked closely with our clients to bring their ideas to life.

We are adept with hardwoods, laminates, solid surfaces, plastics, glass, lighting, metals and print. Our expert teams specialize in creating unique fixtures, merchandising systems and signage in our 50,000 sq/ft facility in Burnaby, BC.

We are looking for a Experienced Cabinet Maker with experience building wood fixtures, cabinetry and/or furniture as those hired are expected to hit the ground running. This position will be full-time and will be responsible for all of our projects involving wood.

The ideal candidate has previous experience and a true passion for building unique things and working with their hands. They are positive, self-motivated and take exceptional pride in their work.

Qualifications:

· Experienced cabinet maker/joiner with at least 5 years millwork shop experience.

· Experience in operating a variety of hand-operated and power tools to cut wood parts and prepare them for assembly.

· Red Seal in Joinery is preferred.

· Good communication skills.

· Highly organized and detail orientated.

· Preference given to someone seeking to grow in to Lead Hand.

Requirements:

· Must be able to read and interpret shop drawings;

· Willingness and ability to follow procedures and adhere to safety procedures;

· Able to lift 50+ pounds;

· Stand at work table for up to 8 hours per day;

· Able to analyze a project/product to determine if there are any flaws;

· Able to quickly jump from project to project as priorities shift;

· Fast paced and energetic to meet project deadlines.

Additional Skills: (considered a plus)

· Design skills, CAD;

· Painting experience;

· Solid surface or plastics experience;

· CNC Routing and Machining experience.
