Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cabinet Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately installing cabinets and related fixtures, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets client specifications. Your expertise will contribute to transforming spaces into functional and beautiful kitchens, providing homeowners with a seamless renovation experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, develop your skills in cabinetry and general construction, and be part of a collaborative team dedicated to excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and installation instructions to ensure precise cabinet placement and alignment
  • Measure spaces accurately to determine the correct positioning of cabinets, ensuring proper fit and functionality
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to install cabinetry securely onto walls and floors
  • Assist with preparation tasks such as framing, leveling surfaces, and performing minor carpentry work as needed
  • Apply caulking, sealing, and finishing techniques to achieve clean edges and professional appearance
  • Coordinate with team members to manage heavy lifting of large cabinet units safely and efficiently
  • Conduct quality checks throughout the installation process to ensure adherence to safety standards and client expectations

Experience

  • Prior experience in cabinet installation or general construction is highly preferred
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating
  • Strong knowledge of woodworking, cabinetry assembly, flooring installation, tile laying, roofing, siding, rebar installation, and masonry work is advantageous
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, plumbing, electrical systems, and construction painting techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively in physically demanding environments
  • Hands-on experience with restoration projects or handyman tasks is a plus
  • Construction experience encompassing framing, drywall installation, caulking, roofing, or siding will support success in this role
