Responsibilities:

  • Build custom cabinets and architectural millwork from detailed shop drawings
  • Work with a variety of materials and finishes
  • Operate standard woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
  • Maintain clean, organized workstations and follow shop safety protocols
  • Collaborate with other skilled tradespeople to complete high-end commercial projects
  • Work independently and collaboratively, and take direction from the shop foreperson

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in a professional millwork or cabinetry shop (not hobbyist)
  • Red Seal certification in Cabinetmaking/Joinery strongly preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of woodworking tools, joinery techniques, and finishing preparation
  • Strong ability to interpret shop drawings and work to tight tolerances
  • Working experience with AWMAC/NAAWS standards

Location:
Our fully equipped shop is located on Norland Avenue in Burnaby, BC. Candidates must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
