Job Title: VR & Animal Ride Attendant

Location: Kidz Kingdom – Londonderry Mall

Position Summary

Kidz Kingdom is looking for an energetic, friendly, and reliable VR & Animal Ride Attendant to operate our Virtual Reality (VR) attraction and motorized animal rides. This role is focused on creating a fun, safe, and memorable experience for guests while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming attraction area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests and provide excellent customer service.
  • Explain how the VR experience and animal rides work.
  • Assist guests with fitting VR headsets and ensure equipment is used safely.
  • Operate and supervise all VR attractions and animal rides.
  • Ensure riders meet all height, age, and safety requirements.
  • Help children safely get on and off the rides.
  • Perform routine safety checks before and throughout each shift.
  • Clean and sanitize VR headsets, controllers, ride handles, and high-touch surfaces after each use.
  • Monitor the attraction area to ensure guests follow all safety rules.
  • Sell ride tickets or process payments through the POS system.
  • Answer customer questions about pricing and attractions.
  • Report equipment issues or maintenance concerns to management immediately.
  • Keep the attraction area clean, organized, and inviting at all times.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties.
  • Promote a positive, family-friendly environment.

Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with children and families.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Availability

Ideal candidates are available to work a combination of:

  • 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM shifts
  • 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM shifts
  • Evenings, weekends, holidays, and school breaks as required.

  • Comfortable learning basic technology and operating VR equipment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs when required.
  • Previous customer service, retail, amusement, or attraction experience is an asset but not required.

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
