Full job description
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated full time Cook to join our team. The Cook will assist in the preparation and execution of authentic Greek dishes in the kitchen, ensuring excellent quality and presentation. Typical shifts are 2/3pm-close Tuesday - Sunday.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring
- Assist in cooking and preparing various menu items
- Follow recipes accurately and maintain food preparation processes
- Ensure all food meets food safety and quality standards
- Keep the kitchen clean and organized at all times including doing dishes, disinfecting prep stations, and equipment cleaning
- Assist other kitchen staff as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience working with in a restaurant kitchen
- Experience working the line and executing tickets/orders
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction from the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
