QA Lab Assistant ~ (12-month contract)
- Previous experience writing technical reports & creating data sheets
- Ability to read technical drawings & previous knowledge with measurement instruments would be an asset
- Computer and MS Office skills

What does a QA Lab Assistant do?
- Perform qualification tests per established QTP and record measurements test results, including electrical, mechanical, and environmental testing
- Generate test reports as required
- Failure analysis, investigation, and reporting
- Respond to root cause corrective actions as a participating team member
- Other responsibilities as required to support the Quality Test Lab
What do you bring to the table
- Post secondary student in a technical program (Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) Must abide by all Health and Safety Rules and have demonstrated commitment to good housekeeping/organizational practices
- Maintain good working relationships with others.
- Strive for continuous improvement in all aspects of the work environment, project teams and relevant job training
Desired to Have:
- Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent.
- Statistical and quantitative methods
- Reliability and risk management knowledge
- Project Management skills
- Good soldering skills, testing and failure analysis experience
- Familiarity with test fixture and small tooling design principles to facilitate testing processes
- Basic understanding of electrical circuits
