Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Sales Manager to support our retail operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving sales growth, managing store activities, and leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service. The Assistant Sales Manager will assist in implementing sales strategies, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring the team meets performance goals.

Duties

• Support the Store Manager in developing and executing sales strategies to meet revenue targets
• Assist in supervising daily store operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and store presentation
• Lead and motivate sales associates to achieve individual and team sales goals
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and excellent customer service skills
• Oversee cashiering activities, including cash handling, POS transactions, and balancing registers
• Participate in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training new staff members
• Manage payroll processing and maintain accurate employee records
• Assist with purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to optimize sales opportunities
• Implement marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns within the store
• Maintain organizational standards for cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies
• Support budgeting efforts and monitor expenses to ensure profitability

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail sales management or supervisory roles with demonstrated leadership skills
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective customer engagement
• Experience with merchandising, POS systems, purchasing, and cash handling procedures
• Knowledge of retail management practices including pricing strategies, marketing, and store operations
• Ability to recruit, train, and develop team members effectively
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and time management abilities
• Proficiency in administrative tasks such as bookkeeping, payroll processing, and record keeping
• Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive work environment
• Strong problem-solving skills combined with effective phone etiquette and customer service orientation

Pay: $19.60-$20.00 per hour
