Role Overview

The Junior Security Specialist is responsible for supporting and maintaining physical security technology solutions across client environments, with a primary focus on Verkada systems and related security technologies. This role serves as a key liaison between end users, client stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure security solutions are effectively implemented, administered, and supported. Schedule
This is a full-time permanent position with 8-hour shifts from Monday – Friday, for a total of 40 hrs weekly.

What We Offer
Competitive Salary:

  • $60,000.00–$70,000.00 per year. Salary to commensurate with experience.

What You’ll Do

Security Technology Support

  • Assist with the administration and support of Verkada and related security systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic system, user, and access-related issues.
  • Provide technical assistance to users and client representatives.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior technical resources as required.

Client Engagement & Communication

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries related to security technologies.
  • Build positive relationships with stakeholders at client locations.
  • Communicate system updates, changes, and recommendations effectively.
  • Provide end-user guidance and training when required.

Documentation & Coordination

  • Maintain accurate records of service requests, issues, and resolutions.
  • Assist with coordinating system deployments, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure all work is documented in accordance with company standards.
  • Support internal teams with project and operational activities as needed.

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Technical aptitude and willingness to learn security systems and software platforms.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to document technical activities accurately and thoroughly.
  • Previous security technology experience is considered an asset but is not required.
