About the Role

Talisker Resources is seeking a Junior Mine Geologist to join the Technical Services team and support underground geological operations at the Bralorne Gold Project as the Company advances from exploration toward production.

Reporting to the Senior Mine Geologist or Chief Mine Geologist, this role will support day-to-day grade control, mapping, sampling, and geological data collection activities to ensure accurate ore delineation and effective short-term mine planning.

The Junior Mine Geologist will work closely with mine engineering, operations, and survey teams to ensure high-quality geological data is collected, interpreted, and communicated in a timely manner to support safe and efficient mining operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to health, safety, environmental stewardship, and teamwork.
  • Conduct underground geological mapping, sampling, and face logging to support grade control and ore delineation.
  • Assist in the identification and tracking of ore boundaries, structures, and lithological units.
  • Support daily grade control activities including muck sampling, chip sampling, and drill hole logging.
  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of geological data into company systems and databases.
  • Collaborate with mine engineering and operations teams to communicate ore/waste decisions and geological updates.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of geological models and interpretations.
  • Support blasthole and production drilling programs through data validation and interpretation.
  • Participate in reconciliation processes comparing planned vs actual geological outcomes.
  • Contribute to geological reporting including shift reports, mapping summaries, and grade control updates.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, QA/QC protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in underground site inspections and safety meetings as required.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support safe and efficient mining operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Earth Sciences (or related discipline).
  • 0–3 years of experience in mining or exploration geology (new graduates encouraged to apply).
  • Exposure to underground mining environments considered an asset.
  • Understanding of basic geological mapping, sampling, and core logging principles.
  • Familiarity with geological software (e.g., Leapfrog, Micromine, Datamine, or similar) considered an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent observational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding underground environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to work in remote and rotational site-based environments.
  • Eligible to work in Canada.

Additional Details:

Location: Bralorne, BC
Job Type: Full-time, Regular
Schedule: 16 days on / 12 days off; 10 hours per day
Compensation Range: CA$70,000 – CA$90,000 per year (depending on experience and scope)
