COSCO SHIPPING Lines (Canada) Inc. is a leading global ocean carrier with a rich history in the Canadian market. The company is launching a brand-new operation center, COSCO SHIPPING NAOC - North America Operation Center, in Toronto, and we are seeking hands-on, proactive and qualified IT Support Analyst to provide excellent technical support to staff by assisting with diagnosing and resolving routine technical issues.

This is a full-time position based on 37.5 hours per week reporting to the manager of the General Management Department of NAOC.

Key Responsibilities

IT Helpdesk Support

  • Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, network, and system issues
  • Respond to helpdesk tickets, troubleshoot problems, and resolve user issues promptly
  • Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including account setup and device configuration
  • Assist users with Microsoft 365, email, VPN, photocopiers, printers, and collaboration tools

Endpoint Management

  • Configure, deploy, maintain, and monitor desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
  • Manage endpoint security, software updates, and patch management
  • Support device imaging, provisioning, and compliance standards

Education Requirement

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field experience preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of technical education, certifications, and relevant work experience may be considered.
  • Ongoing professional development and knowledge of current IT support technologies, cybersecurity practices, and endpoint management solutions are desirable.

Job Experience Requirement

  • 1-3 years of experience in IT Helpdesk, Desktop Support, or Technical Support roles within a corporate environment.
  • Proven experience providing 1st and 2nd level technical support for end users across multiple locations.
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing desktop and laptop hardware, including component replacement and system upgrades.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, and standard business software.
  • Experience with desktop imaging, deployment, and endpoint management tools.
  • Basic knowledge of network connectivity, TCP/IP, and VPN technologies.
  • Experience administering and troubleshooting network and local printers in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience working with ticketing systems and documenting incidents, resolutions, and technical procedures.
  • Ability to support infrastructure-related tasks and assist with IT projects, deployments, and migrations.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Experience supporting shipping, logistics, transportation, or multinational corporate environments is a plus.
