Opportunity: Journeyman Plumber

Type: Permanent, Full Time, Day Shift / Night Shift

Schedule: 7 & 7

Job Location: CNRL

Opportunity Description:

The successful candidate will provide hands on technical support in the plumbing trade. Duties will include removing plumbing connections, cutting and stripping water, sewer and gas piping, and any additional plumbing duties that may be required. Duties may also include working on tasks outside of plumbing scope and supporting other trades as required i.e. helping with demo work.

Qualifications:

Education, Skills & Experience

  • Must have OSSA BSO or CSO training certificates.
  • Valid OSSA accredited Elevated Work Platform, Confined Space and Fall Protection
  • Journeyman Plumber Certificate
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence and Abstract with a clean drivers abstract.
  • A minimum of 3 years related work experience.
  • Experience in maintenance work in the Fort McMurray oil sands is considered an asset
  • The successful candidate will be safety conscious, self-motivated, reliable, flexible and proactive with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated a history of safe work practices
