Full job description

CORE Modular Inc. is a Calgary based remote modular structure consturction company. Our project are located across the country. We are looking for skilled workers to drive our projects to the finish line with safety and precision in mind. All positions will require travel. Schedules are shift work 21 days on and 7 days off with 10hr per day.

Duties:

  • Perform skilled labor tasks as assigned by supervisor
  • Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements
  • Installations, renovations and dismantling of modular structures
  • Fabricating and installing stairs, decks and loading docks
  • Fabricating and installing wooden walkways
  • Install drywall
  • Install rolled rubber roofing
  • Install Lino, carpet and finishing trim work both indoors and outdoors
  • Block and level frameless complexes
  • Work independently and/or as part of a crew
  • Completion of FLHA’s and JHA’s as per each job/task
  • Clean and detail units
  • Follow all safety procedures
  • Use hand and power tools to build, assemble, and install structures
  • Assist with electrical work, including wiring and troubleshooting

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in skilled labor or a related field
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation
  • Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as needed

Note: Additional qualifications may be required based on specific job requirements.

Pay: $28.00-$42.00 per hour

  • Carpentry: 5 years (preferred)
  • Modular Construction: 3 years (required)
