Job Summary

BOMImed Inc. is seeking a Ventilation and Anesthesia Clinical Specialist to join our team. Based in British Columbia, this position will support customers across Western Canada.

BOMImed is a Canadian supplier of healthcare products and services, with our head office and manufacturing facility located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Since 1985, we have focused on supporting healthcare professionals in the areas of Anesthesia and Critical Care through quality products, technical expertise, and responsive customer service.

In this role, you will provide product education, training, and ongoing clinical support for our anesthesia and ventilation product lines. Working closely with the sales and clinical teams, you will help customers effectively implement and utilize our products while building strong, collaborative relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a product resource expert and mentor to newly hired and existing BOMImed Staff.
  • Lead/assist with in-service education and follow up, trouble-shooting guidance during trial and evaluation or post sale install.
  • Assist BOMImed team members with tasked implementation duties either before, during or post implementations in a team approach.
  • Maintain work calendar and commitments, while making travel arrangements for projects within company guidelines.
  • Develop and deliver instructional information to customer healthcare professionals on the use of Ventilator, Anesthesia gas machines and Patient Monitoring product lines.

Skills Required

  • Excellent written, verbal communication and documentation skills.
  • Effectively work with others, possessing professionalism, tact, discretion, and diplomacy.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient, hospital, and corporate related information.
  • Proficient presentation skills and ability to deliver presentations to various groups.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Sound organizational and excellent time management skills.
  • Demonstrate initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to travel within Canada and USA.

Qualifications

  • Anesthesia assistant diploma or minimum of a Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an OR.
  • Hold a provincial issued clinical license in good standing.
  • Valid driver’s license.
