Position? Packer

It’s an exciting time for The Great Little Harbour Seafood Company as we continue to grow. We strive to remain as adaptable, motivated, and responsive

customers and never compromise on the quality of our product. We have a responsible and growing team of employees and we are looking to grow. We

now have an opening for a Packer.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Perform daily/department Safety checks to insure safe work habits exist and correct hazards.
  • Adhere to quality standards, work instructions and procedures, promoting quality within the packaging operation.
  • Comply with safety policies and practices and participate in the plant Safety Program.
  • Provide accurate reporting of safety, production, efficiency, and quality.
  • Maintain continuous flow of materials for production equipment/process.
  • Maintain quality of product being packaged as well as quality of packaging.
  • Identify quality defects and react as necessary to insure containment and corrective actions are executed effectively.
  • Work with team members to make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Standing for extended periods.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Clean criminal record
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

WORK SCHEDULE:

  • Part-Time
  • Monday-Friday
  • Hours vary depending on workload that week
  • Flexible/On Call
