Full job description

Pizazz Gifts is a locally owned gift and lifestyle store in the heart of Edgemont Village. We’re known for our curated selection of gifts, home décor, fashion, jewelry and accessories — and, most importantly, the friendly and personal service that keeps our customers coming back.

We’re looking for a motivated, outgoing and dependable Seasonal Retail Sales Associate to join our team for the holiday season, with the potential to continue in a part-time position afterward.

We’re a friendly, close-knit team where everyone pitches in. The ideal person is a self-starter and go-getter who notices what needs to be done and takes initiative rather than waiting to be asked. If you enjoy staying busy, helping customers and working as part of a team, you’ll fit in well here.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide warm, attentive and knowledgeable customer service
  • Help customers find the right products and gifts
  • Learn about our brands and products to confidently assist customers
  • Process purchases and returns using our POS system
  • Restock, organize and merchandise products
  • Keep the sales floor, displays and work areas clean and organized
  • Assist with receiving shipments, pricing and other day-to-day store tasks
  • Stay informed about new arrivals, promotions and store updates
  • Pitch in wherever needed — we work as a team!

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous retail experience
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Friendly, confident and comfortable approaching customers
  • Reliable, punctual and responsible
  • Proactive, hardworking and able to work independently
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Comfortable using a POS system and handling transactions
  • Able to work efficiently in a busy retail environment
  • Availability for weekend shifts and during the holiday season
  • Knowledge of or familiarity with the North Shore is an asset

Experience in giftware, fashion, home décor or a similar retail environment is a plus.
