Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sushi Chef and Kitchen Staff to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in meal preparation and food service within the food industry, with a particular focus on sushi and Japanese cuisine. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for creating high-quality sushi dishes while ensuring food safety and maintaining a clean kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present a variety of sushi dishes, including nigiri, sashimi, and rolls, according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure all ingredients are fresh and of high quality, adhering to food handling and safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations to meet health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service during peak hours.
  • Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
  • Stay updated on current trends in sushi preparation and presentation techniques to enhance menu offerings.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests when necessary, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating special requests.

Qualifications
