About IBUSHI

IBUSHI is a high-end omakase restaurant in Markham, led by Chef Hiroki Takai. We blend traditional Japanese artistry with contemporary innovation, and we focus on seasonality and authenticity to provide a refined dining experience.

Role

We are seeking a professional, attentive, and guest-focused Server to join our team. Whether you have fine dining experience or are starting your hospitality career, we welcome individuals who are responsible, eager to learn, and committed to excellent service.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests promptly and courteously
  • Provide timely service and manage multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
  • Communicate with guests regarding menu questions, dietary needs, and special requests
  • Lend cross-functional support to the sushi station with dish presentation and table readiness as needed

Qualifications

  • Knowledge in Japanese language is a must
  • Previous serving experience in hospitality or fine dining is an asset.
  • Smart Serve certification
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
