Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and reliable Salad Station team member to join our vibrant Italian restaurant. In this role, you'll be the go-to person for preparing fresh salads and supporting overall food service operations. If you enjoy working in a lively environment and take pride in food presentation and safety, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills and be part of a friendly team.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare a variety of fresh salads according to restaurant recipes and standards.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and garnishing dishes.
  • Support the kitchen team with meal assembly and ensuring timely service during busy hours.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salad station, including proper food handling and storage practices.
  • Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure high-quality, safe meals for guests.
  • Help with general food service duties, including serving guests and assisting front-of-house staff when needed.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively with colleagues.

Skills

  • Prior food handling or food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key.
  • Knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly techniques.
  • Understanding of food safety standards within a restaurant setting.
