Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, efficiency in food and beverage service, and the ability to manage multiple tables while maintaining a positive attitude. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS are preferred. The Server will play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our guests through attentive service and upselling techniques.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, professional service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Micros POS
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
• Manage multiple tables effectively, ensuring timely delivery of orders and guest satisfaction
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including table setup, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness when necessary
• Assist with food preparation or other kitchen tasks as needed in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
• Demonstrate excellent guest services skills by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred; restaurant experience is a plus
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Basic math skills for billing, cash handling, and order accuracy
• Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in the hospitality industry
• Kitchen experience or food industry background is beneficial but not required
