Full job description

Chill & Grill Olive Fusion Ristorante is a vibrant multi-cuisine restaurant in Surrey, BC, offering a unique fusion of Greek, Italian, and Indian-inspired dishes in a welcoming dining atmosphere.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional, and customer-focused Server/Bartender to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Serve food and beverages while maintaining high service standards.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Provide guests with knowledgeable recommendations about menu items, drinks, and specials.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining and bar area.
  • Process customer payments accurately.
  • Follow responsible alcohol service practices and all applicable BC liquor regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house team members.
  • Handle customer questions and concerns professionally.
  • Assist with opening, closing, and general restaurant duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Previous serving and/or bartending experience is preferred.
  • Serving It Right certification is required for serving alcohol in BC.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Friendly, energetic, and professional attitude.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage service.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

French Language Advantage: Fluency in French will be considered a strong advantage and may be preferred for this position.

Pay: $18.25-$30.53 per hour
