What to Expect:

As a senior strategic leader, the Campaign & Performance Manager is accountable for architecting and operationalizing a high-impact, data-driven media ecosystem that drives measurable business growth across the full customer journey, from awareness to conversion. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of media investment and activation across owned and paid channels, including e-retail, with a mandate to maximize ROI, accelerate digital maturity, and embed a culture of performance excellence. This role has a primary responsibility on sales across all media-driven digital channels. Beyond campaign execution, the manager will lead the transformation of the organization’s media capabilities, elevating the media function into a strategic growth engine and driving structural evolution in how media is planned, activated, and optimized. This position is an existing vacancy


A day in the life:

Full-Funnel Media Strategy Leadership
  • Define and lead the strategic vision for full-funnel media activation, ensuring alignment with brand, commercial, and digital transformation goals
  • Translate business objectives into integrated media strategies that drive measurable outcomes across awareness, consideration, and conversion
  • Serve as a thought leader and internal consultant on media innovation, performance frameworks, and investment prioritization


Campaign Orchestration and Activation Excellence

  • Oversee the end-to-end activation of omnichannel campaigns, ensuring precision in targeting, sequencing, and messaging across platforms
  • Drive excellence in execution across owned digital properties and e-retail environments, including Amazon and other key partners
  • Ensure campaigns are insight-led, audience-centric, and optimized for both brand equity and commercial impact


Performance Intelligence and Optimization

  • Establish a robust performance measurement framework, leveraging advanced analytics, attribution modeling, and real-time dashboards
  • Lead continuous optimization cycles using A/B testing, audience segmentation, and predictive modeling to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Translate complex data into strategic insights that inform executive decision-making and future planning


Organizational Capability Building

  • Lead the transformation of internal media capabilities, upskilling teams and embedding performance media best practices across the organization
  • Act as a change agent, fostering a culture of experimentation, agility, and accountability
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing team, setting clear expectations and growth paths


Cross-Functional and Executive Collaboration

  • Partner with senior stakeholders across marketing, e-commerce, sales, and finance to align media strategies with enterprise priorities
  • Influence C-level decision-making through compelling storytelling, business cases, and performance narratives
  • Manage agency and platform relationships to ensure strategic alignment and operational excellence


Investment Stewardship and Innovation

  • Own the media investment strategy, ensuring optimal allocation across channels & funnel stages for best ROI
  • Identify and pilot emerging platforms, tools, and technologies that can unlock new growth opportunities
  • Benchmark against industry leaders to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of media innovation


Market Intelligence and Innovation

  • Stay ahead of digital media trends, platform innovations, and consumer behavior shifts
  • Identify and pilot new tools, technologies, and partners to enhance media effectiveness
  • Benchmark against industry leaders to ensure best-in-class performance standards


Role Requirements

  • Bilingualism in English and French language skills are a requirement, as this position requires collaboration with stakeholders across the Canadian market
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing, with at least 5 years in performance media leadership roles
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and external agencies, with a focus on collaboration, influence, and stakeholder alignment
  • Proven track record of leading full-funnel media strategies across owned, paid, and e-retail channels, with measurable business impact
  • Demonstrated experience in transforming media operations, building internal capabilities, and embedding performance-driven cultures
  • Deep expertise in media planning, activation, and optimization across platforms such as Google, Meta, Amazon, and programmatic ecosystems
  • Strong command of data analytics, attribution modeling, and ROI measurement, with the ability to translate insights into strategic decisions
  • Familiarity with emerging media technologies, retail media networks, and innovation pipelines
  • Background in consumer goods, e-commerce, or digitally mature organizations is highly desirable

Compensation Range
: $110,000.00 – $130,000.00+ bonus eligibility
