Doctors Now is an international concierge medical network providing high-quality medical care to international travelers staying in hotels, private residences, and other accommodations.

We partner with international travel assistance companies, insurers, and organizations worldwide to deliver prompt, personalized medical care.

We are currently expanding our network of independent medical providers in this region.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for healthcare professionals looking to supplement their current clinical practice through flexible, on-demand consultations.

Consultation requests are coordinated by our administrative team and offered to providers, who remain free to accept or decline each opportunity based on their availability.

This is not an emergency response or on-call position.

There are no minimum hours required.

Providers determine their own availability and are free to accept or decline consultation requests based on their schedules, with no obligation to accept any minimum number of consultations.

Scope of Services:

• Provide in-person medical consultations at hotels, private residences, and other accommodations.
• Provide telemedicine consultations when appropriate.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients within your professional scope of practice.
• Prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests, and recommend or provide treatment within the scope of your professional licence and in accordance with applicable local laws and professional regulations.
• Complete the required medical documentation following each consultation.
• Deliver compassionate, professional, patient-centered care to an international clientele.
• Providers are free to maintain their own medical practice and provide services to other organizations or clients.

Qualifications

Physicians (MD)

• Active and unrestricted Certificate of Registration issued by the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA).

Nurse Practitioners (NP)

• Registered and in good standing with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
• Authorized to practise as a Nurse Practitioner in Alberta.

Languages

• Fluency in English is required. Additional languages relevant to the local patient population are considered strong assets.
• Spanish proficiency is highly desirable. Portuguese is also considered a strong asset.

Requirements

• Availability to provide medical consultations at hotels, private residences, and other accommodations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional, reliable, and able to work independently.
• Willingness to undergo a criminal background check.
• Access to reliable transportation to attend patient visits is preferred.
