Account Executive, Canada (Greater Toronto Area)

Reports To: Director of Strategic Accounts

Position Summary

Gentell is seeking a motivated, results-oriented Account Executive based in the Greater Toronto Area to support and grow sales of Gentell and Derma Sciences branded wound care and medical disposable products throughout Canada. This role is responsible for driving product demand within Acute Care and Post-Acute Care markets through major the leading healthcare distributor, increasing utilization within existing accounts, and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with hospitals, long-term care facilities, outpatient centers, home healthcare providers, and other healthcare organizations.
  • Conduct regular sales calls with existing customers to increase product utilization and market share.
  • Partner with distributor sales representatives on joint sales calls, customer visits, product evaluations, and territory development activities.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities through distributor channels.
  • Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and clinical in-services to healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and sales reports.
  • Gather market intelligence regarding competitors, customer needs, and industry trends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of medical device, wound care, healthcare, or medical disposable product sales experience.
  • Experience working with healthcare distributors preferred.
  • Proven success achieving sales goals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory and Canada as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling through healthcare distribution channels.
  • Knowledge of Acute Care, Long-Term Care, Continuing Care, and Home Care markets.
  • Experience with wound care and disposable medical products.
  • Existing relationships with major Canadian healthcare distributors.
