Overall
The Intelligence Analyst supports Bombardier’s Global Security team by delivering proactive, data-driven threat intelligence to safeguard people, assets, and operations. The role conducts OSINT investigations, and monitors global risks in real-time, particularly those affecting aviation and manufacturing.
What are your contributions to the team?
- Fulfill intelligence requirements through proactive monitoring, collection, and analysis of global threats, delivering clear, timely, and actionable reporting.
- Produce high-quality written intelligence reports, including alerts, risk assessments, threat profiles, dashboards, and strategic reporting.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive verbal and written intelligence briefings for internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Conduct OSINT-based investigations into threat actors, reputational risks, and security incidents.
- Apply analytical tools and structured methodologies to assess threats and reputational risks and recommend mitigation measures to support decision-making.
- Maintain situational awareness of incidents impacting aviation, travel, and executive protection, including rapidly evolving events.
- Support crisis response and investigations by providing real-time intelligence and decision-relevant updates.
- Liaise with law enforcement, industry partners, and intelligence networks, as appropriate.
How to thrive in this role?
- Bachelor’s degree in criminology, security management, or related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in intelligence collection and analysis.
- Experience in data analysis using relational databases combined with applied research methods to evaluate qualitative and quantitative information.
- Experience in intelligence analysis, OSINT, investigations, or corporate threat intelligence.
- Knowledge of security protocols, risk assessment methodologies, and incident management processes.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills including strong critical thinking with the ability to interpret complex information and datasets.
- Excellent report-drafting skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- A strong sense of initiative and the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Flexibility in availability, as required by business needs.
- Strong understanding of threat types, global trends, emerging threats, and risk landscapes.
- Understanding of risks affecting aviation, manufacturing, and global operations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-changing, time-sensitive environments.
- Proficiency with OSINT platforms and monitoring tools.
