À propos du poste
Nous recherchons un responsable de la performance de la souscription, doté d'un esprit stratégique et axé sur les résultats, pour superviser les opérations de souscription en mettant l'accent sur l'optimisation de la performance, la conformité et l'alignement stratégique. Sous la responsabilité du vice-président chargé de la souscription, ce poste jouera un rôle essentiel pour garantir que les pratiques de souscription répondent aux normes de rentabilité et de performance au sein d'Optisure Underwriting Services, de SWG Specialty Underwriting Services Ltd. et de South Western Insurance Group Limited.
Responsabilités et missions :
- Suivi des performances :
- Suivre les indicateurs clés de performance (KPI) de la souscription et les performances du portefeuille
- Utiliser des analyses fondées sur les données pour identifier les tendances et améliorer l'efficacité de la souscription
- Mettre en œuvre des améliorations de processus afin d'optimiser la précision et les délais d'exécution
- Leadership et développement :
- Assurer le leadership et la supervision des chefs d'équipe, en garantissant une gestion efficace des ressources humaines, la performance et l'exécution opérationnelle au sein des équipes
- Gérer et encadrer les souscripteurs, en leur apportant un accompagnement
- Veiller à la répartition de la charge de travail et au respect des accords de niveau de service
- Favoriser une culture d'amélioration continue et de conformité
- Politique et conformité
- Élaborer et mettre à jour les directives de souscription, les déclarations d'autorité et les outils de tariffication
- Veiller au respect des exigences réglementaires et des contrôles internes
- Collaboration stratégique
- Représenter la souscription dans le cadre d'initiatives interfonctionnelles
Ce que nous recherchons :

Compétences clés :
- Bilingue anglais-français (à l'écrit et à l'oral)
- Solide expérience en souscription technique dans un ou plusieurs secteurs d'activité
- Expérience avérée en tant que mentor et coach
- Excellentes compétences en gestion des relations et en communication
- Solides compétences en analyse et en prise de décision
- Connaissance des normes de conformité et des évaluations des risques
- Capacité à animer et à animer des sessions de formation captivantes pour des publics variés
- Sens aigu de l'organisation et du souci du détail ; une expérience en gestion de projet est un atout
- Le PAA est un atout
- Une expérience préalable au sein d’une agence de gestion générale (AGG) est un atout

About the Opportunity
We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Underwriting Performance Manager to oversee underwriting operations with a focus on performance optimization, compliance, and strategic alignment. Reporting to the VP, Underwriting, This role will play a critical part in ensuring underwriting practices meet profitability and performance standards across Optisure Underwriting Services, SWG Specialty Underwriting Services Ltd., and South Western Insurance Group Limited.
Responsibilities and what you’ll be doing:
- Performance Oversight:
- Monitor underwriting KPIs and portfolio performance
- Use data-driven insights to identify trends and improve underwriting efficiency
- Implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and turnaround times
- Leadership and Development:
- Provide leadership and oversight to Team Leads, ensuring effective people management, performance, and operational execution across teams
- Manage and mentor underwriters, providing coaching
- Ensure workload distribution and adherence to service level agreements
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and compliance
- Policy & Compliance
- Develop and update underwriting guidelines, authority statements, and pricing tools
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls
- Strategic collaboration
- Represent underwriting in cross-functional initiatives

Key Qualifications:

- Skilled in presenting and facilitating engaging training sessions for diverse audiences
- Highly organized with attention to detail; project management experience is an asset
