Summary:

Axis Family Resources Ltd. is hiring Part Time and Casual Specialized Caregiver Supports to work in Supportive Housing Programs in Salmon Arm. Trauma-informed practice is the core of our work. Qualifications & Requirements:

• A certificate or diploma in Community Services, Health Care Aid, Human Services, or other related discipline is preferred
• 2 years' experience in social services is required,
• Related experience in working with vulnerable populations or behavioral challenges will also be considered an asset (please outline the type of experience in the ‘message to the employer’ section during the application process)
• Reliable transportation and a valid BC driver’s license
• Knowledge of and the ability to work with complex trauma, Autism, FASD, ODD, or other neurobiological conditions is beneficial
• Clear Criminal Record Check (Agency conducted, expenses covered)
• Effective written and verbal communication
