About Us

We are an established interior insulation contractor with over 25 years in business, specializing in batt insulation, spray foam, firestopping, and related insulation systems across residential and commercial construction projects. Our work includes a large volume of wood-frame multi-family construction as well as concrete and mixed-use developments.

We are currently looking for an experienced Insulation Superintendent to join our growing team.

Position Overview

The Insulation Superintendent will oversee multiple active projects simultaneously, ensuring schedules, manpower, quality control, safety, and site coordination are managed efficiently. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and field experience in insulation and construction environments.

You can expect to oversee approximately 10–20 projects at a time throughout various stages of construction.

Typical working hours are approximately 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional flexibility depending on project requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage batt insulation projects from startup through completion
  • Assist with two-week look-ahead scheduling and manpower planning
  • Coordinate employees and subcontractors to maintain construction schedules
  • Conduct pre-start site inspections and identify site readiness issues
  • Perform deficiency walkthroughs before inspections
  • Communicate regularly with site superintendents, project managers, and trades
  • Coordinate with spray foam and firestopping divisions as required
  • Prepare detailed site reports including photos and progress updates
  • Track project progress, productivity, and material usage
  • Perform accurate material counts and coordinate deliveries
  • Meet and coordinate material loads on site
  • Ensure crews and subcontractors maintain required safety documentation
  • Assist with toolbox meetings, safe work plans, and safety inspections
  • Train and mentor new workers on proper installation techniques
  • Help resolve deficiencies and support crews on site when needed
  • Track company tools, equipment, ladders, and scaffolding across projects

Qualifications

  • Experience supervising batt insulation projects or related interior insulation / finishes
  • Strong understanding of wood-frame and concrete construction
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors and site crews
  • Knowledge of building codes and insulation systems
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Safety-oriented mindset with strong leadership abilities
