Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Instrument Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in instrumentation, electrical systems, and mechanical knowledge. This role is critical in ensuring the reliable operation of our equipment and systems, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of our operations. The Instrument Technician will work closely with various departments to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation and control systems.

Responsibilities

  • Calibrate, and repair various types of instrumentation used in aircraft.
  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues effectively.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments such as calipers, digital multimeters, signal generators, frequency counters and oscilloscopes

Requirements

  • Degree in Electronics or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as an Instrument Technician as an asset.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform repairs on various equipment types.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
