What You’ll Be Doing

· Advising clients on all aspects of bankruptcy, insolvency, restructuring, and creditor rights.

· Acting for a range of stakeholders including lenders, trustees, receivers, and debtors.

· Handling files involving bankruptcies, receiverships, proposals, CCAA restructurings, and enforcement matters.

· Managing debt recovery and collection matters for financial institutions and other creditors.

· Representing clients in court on motions, applications, and other proceedings.

· Negotiating and drafting a variety of insolvency-related agreements and court documents.

· Collaborating with colleagues in related practice areas to deliver integrated legal solutions.

What We’re Looking For

· 5+ years of experience in insolvency, restructuring, and debt enforcement.

· Strong litigation, negotiation, and advocacy skills.

· Excellent professional and academic credentials.

· Ability to manage complex files independently and efficiently.

· Strong interpersonal and client service skills.

· An entrepreneurial mindset and desire to contribute to business development.

· Willingness to attend at our Toronto office at least 4 days per week.
