Head Chef (Chef de Cuisine) - INK Entertainment

Location: Toronto, ON

Company: INK Entertainment Group

Your Future Is With Us

Are you a passionate culinary leader driven by flavor, innovation, and high-energy kitchen environments? This is an exciting opportunity to take the reins at INK Entertainment’s vibrant, high-volume Middle Eastern street food concept inspired by the bold flavors of the Levant.

We are growing fast, and we are looking for a creative mind to elevate our menu, lead our kitchen, and help take our brand to the next level. As part of the world-class INK Entertainment portfolio, you won’t just be running a kitchen—you'll have the opportunity to work internationally across our expanding global footprint in North America and beyond.

About INK Entertainment

Operating since 1982, INK Entertainment is a powerhouse in lifestyle, hospitality, and entertainment. We create culture-defining experiences across acclaimed dining destinations (Sofia, Amal, Akira Back, Margo, Daphne), luxury nightlife (REBEL, Toybox, Cabana Pool Bar), major festivals (VELD), and private clubs (Clio). We work hard, innovate constantly, and offer unmatched growth for people who bring passion to the table.

The Role

As Head Chef (Chef de Cuisine), you’ll lead all culinary operations at one of our venues, ensuring every dish hits the table (or the box!) with bold flavor, precision, and flair. You will split your energy between culinary creativity—developing modern takes on traditional Levantine favorites—and operational leadership across both restaurant and mobile environments.

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive Culinary Innovation: Develop and evolve exciting seasonal menus and feature dishes that honor authentic Levantine/Lebanese cuisine while bringing fresh, contemporary techniques to life.
  • Lead & Inspire: Cultivate a positive, high-performing kitchen culture. Mentor, coach, and elevate Sous Chefs, Line Cooks, and kitchen staff to reach their full potential.
  • Execute Operational Excellence: Oversee daily service in a fast-paced environment, maintaining flawless quality, presentation, and consistency across restaurant operations, catering, and food truck activations.
  • Manage Financials & Inventory: Lead purchasing, vendor relations, food cost control, labor scheduling, and inventory management to smash performance targets and minimize waste.
  • Set Safety & Quality Standards: Ensure absolute compliance with health, food safety, sanitation, and kitchen equipment maintenance standards.

What We’re Looking For

  • Lebanese / Levantine Expertise: Deep, hands-on knowledge of traditional Lebanese recipes, spices, open-fire/charcoal grilling, rotisserie cooking, mezze, and cultural food traditions.
  • Fast-Casual & Mobile Experience: Proven experience navigating the demands of high-volume fast-casual (QSR), food truck, or fast-paced restaurant environments.
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Head Chef or Chef de Cuisine in a high-volume venue with a track record of building and managing strong teams.
  • A Creative & Growth Mindset: Someone who thrives on high energy, loves pushing culinary boundaries, and wants to grow alongside a rapidly expanding hospitality group.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Global Mobility: Opportunity to work internationally and grow your career across our North American and global properties.
  • Competitive Compensation: Top-tier salary + gratuity program + comprehensive health and dental coverage.
  • Perks & Discounts: Dining discounts across all INK Entertainment venues, early event access..
  • Culture & Growth: Direct access to industry-leading executive chefs, ongoing leadership training, and real career mobility.
