Aziwell Canada Inc. is a company that provides directional core drilling services and borehole instrumentation for the mining industry nationwide. Our products are characterized by the combination of advanced mechanical and electronic technology. Our highly skilled field technicians cooperate with drilling contractors and project geologists to maximize the benefits of implementing directional drilling in drilling programs.

Job description

We are experiencing a rapid growth in our Canadian drilling operations and we are thus searching for new technicians for rotational work. Our goal is to make you into a reliable field technician that can support the company’s operations; as such you will be trained to provide our full range of field services:
- Operate our directional core drill, our borehole survey instruments and corresponding software
- Perform borehole planning
- Work as a drill site tech during directional drilling operation
You should expect a rotational working schedule (typically 3 weeks on and 3 weeks off) and you should be willing to travel.

We are looking for candidates with good practical and mechanical skills, with experience in directional drilling operations, preferably in mining, geotechnical or infrastructure
drilling. Candidates without drilling experience, but with strong background in mechanics and good English (and French) language skills will also be considered.

- You have a positive attitude, good communication skills and speak and write English well
- You are able to work in harsh environments and have good physical strength
- You are able to work under stressful conditions and be problem solving oriented

Job Types: Full-time, Fly-In/Fly-Out, Permanent

Pay: $71,500.00 per year
