Job Summary

Location - Calgary

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, wiring, and fixtures in commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications to complete installations accurately.
  • Install and terminate conduits, cables, panels, switchgear, transformers, lighting, receptacles, and control systems.
  • Perform electrical testing, commissioning, inspections, and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability and compliance.
  • Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment and carry out repairs efficiently to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure all work complies with the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC), provincial regulations, project specifications, and company quality standards.
  • Follow all health and safety policies, conduct hazard assessments, and adhere to lockout/tagout (LOTO) and safe work procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must have experience in Commercial Projects.
  • Education Requirement: Construction Electrician Journeyman - Completion of the Apprenticeship program & Red Seal
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$50.00 per hour
