Full job description

Boss Plumbing is currently seeking a highly motivated Red Seal tradesperson to fill a service tech position with experience in commercial and residential heating and cooling plumbing services, including construction new builds and renovations. Required knowledge: servicing furnaces, air conditioners, rooftop units, water heaters, boilers, and plumbing maintenance and repairs. Residential and commercial work are frequent service calls at Boss Plumbing; a general knowledge of both is required.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Understand safe work practices and follow company procedures
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to identify problems, implement solutions and overcome challenges
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team
  • Detail oriented, motivated and quality focused
  • Knowledge of all plumbing and heating systems and code
  • Meet or exceed schedule deadlines and independently manage time and projects
  • Interpret project documents and follow engineer’s specifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in a similar role (preferred)
  • Certification: Valid Red Seal Journeyperson Plumbing Certification
  • License: Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
