Job Summary

Location - Edmonton, AB & Lloydminster

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations
  • Knowledge of plans and specifications relating to all aspects of Electrical/FA/LV/Systems/Lighting/etc. installations for the entire project
  • Responsible for the Safety and Field Labor on Project assigned
  • Review individual crew daily Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) for compliance. Attend weekly crew safety meeting to make sure all employees are engaged in conversation
  • Lead by example in a professional workmanlike manor, role model for crew, challenge all employees to achieve excellence
  • Ensure all work installed meets CEC, provincial, federal, or any other codes that apply to the project jurisdiction
  • Review and plan appropriate equipment and materials for projects

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must have experience in Commercial Projects.
  • Education Requirement: Construction Electrician Journeyman - Completion of the Apprenticeship program & Red Seal
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills

Pay: $43.00-$50.00 per hour
