Job Title: Warehouse Cleaner – Overnight Shift (Unionized)
Location: Vaughan, ON (Large Distribution Centre & Warehouse)
Shift: Saturday & Sunday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Wage: $21.25 per hour

Job Summary

Position Overview:
We are currently hiring reliable and detail-oriented Cleaners for a large distribution centre and warehouse in Vaughan. This is a unionized position offering steady hours in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general cleaning duties throughout the warehouse and distribution areas
  • Sweep, mop, and maintain floors
  • Use of walk behind floor machine to clean warehouse floors
  • Cleaning lockout areas, in between, behind and underneath machinery
  • Clean washrooms, lunchrooms, offices, and common areas
  • Empty garbage and recycling
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Properly use cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • Wear required PPE at all times

Requirements:

  • Steel-toed safety shoes are required (company provides a shoe allowance)
  • PPE is mandatory (as per site and safety requirements)
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Previous cleaning or warehouse experience is an asset, but not required
