Job Summary
The Nutrition Box is looking for a reliable and experienced Kitchen Helper who is confident with bulk cooking, following standardized recipes, and coordinating kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Cook INDIAN food in bulk quantities
- Follow recipes accurately
- Maintain consistent taste and quality
- Manage daily food preparation
- Guide and coordinate kitchen staff
- Maintain proper portion sizes
- Ensure timely food production
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness
- Follow food safety standards
- Monitor and restock ingredients
Qualifications
- Previous commercial kitchen or bulk cooking experience preferred
- Strong cooking and food-preparation skills
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently
- Comfortable taking responsibility and handling a small kitchen team
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, organized, and hardworking
- Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety
- Experience with Indian cooking is an asset
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Location: The Nutrition Box
Schedule: Saturday to Wednesday
