Job Summary

Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Dishwasher, where your role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. You will be responsible for ensuring all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to uphold the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. Duties

  • Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools efficiently throughout the shift
  • Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is functioning properly
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, supporting chefs and kitchen staff in food handling and prep activities
  • Follow proper food safety protocols and hygiene standards at all times
  • Manage waste disposal and recycling processes responsibly to keep the workspace tidy
  • Support the overall cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces regularly
  • Collaborate with restaurant or hotel staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for service

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key!
  • Strong understanding of cleaning procedures, food handling safety, and sanitation standards
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food service practices is a plus
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
