Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of meal preparation in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dishes that meet our standards for taste and presentation while adhering to food safety regulations.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
  • Ensure all food handling and preparation meets health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
  • Assist in meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
  • Follow proper food safety protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food quality.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when needed.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
