Summary

Job Title: Kitchen Helper

Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to support daily kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and ensure a smooth workflow in the kitchen. Strong customer service experience is essential, as this role may involve interacting with guests and supporting front-of-house needs when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks (washing, chopping, portioning ingredients)
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils
  • Wash dishes, pots, and pans promptly and efficiently
  • Support cooks and kitchen staff during busy periods
  • Ensure proper food handling and sanitation standards are followed
  • Help with receiving and storing deliveries
  • Dispose of waste and keep garbage areas clean
  • Provide assistance with customer service when needed, including responding to basic inquiries in a friendly and professional manner

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is an asset
  • Customer service experience is preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Good attention to detail and hygiene standards
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends

Work Environment:
