Full job description

Duties

  • Greet and seat guests , presenting menus and providing information about specials or promotions.
  • Manage other servers duties, schedule and reslove service issues.
  • Manage till management, inventory.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring all requests are communicated to the kitchen staff.
  • Serve food and drinks in a timely manner, adhering to proper food handling and safety standards.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
  • Process payments accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
  • Assist with inventory control by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages to management.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders.
  • Train new staff members on restaurant policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss service improvements and share feedback.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred, with knowledge of fine dining or casual dining environments being advantageous.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods is beneficial.
  • Experience with cash handling and operating POS systems is required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating leadership capabilities when necessary.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with guests and team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00-$21.00 per hour
