Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate South Indian Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in South Indian cuisine, food preparation, and restaurant management. This role involves supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food safety standards, and delivering authentic South Indian dishes that delight our customers. The Chef will play a key role in maintaining high-quality food service and fostering a positive, efficient kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook authentic South Indian dishes with attention to flavor, presentation, and quality standards
  • Supervise kitchen staff, including training new team members and managing daily operations
  • Oversee food handling procedures to ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations
  • Manage food inventory, ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock levels
  • Ensure timely service of dishes to meet customer expectations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area according to health standards
  • Lead by example in practicing food safety protocols and promoting teamwork within the kitchen
  • Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings
  • Serve as a leader in the kitchen, providing guidance and support to team members

Requirements

  • Proven experience in South Indian cuisine, with strong skills in food preparation and cooking
