Job Description:
Raani is looking for an experienced Tandoor Chef with a strong foundation in traditional techniques and an appreciation for precision-driven, refined cooking.

This role goes beyond volume production; it focuses on controlled heat, nuanced seasoning, and elevated execution across a focused tandoor program. From delicately spiced kebabs to perfectly structured breads, every element is expected to reflect consistency, balance, and finesse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute a refined selection of tandoor dishes, including kebabs, breads, and specialty grill items
  • Maintain precise control of the tandoor, managing heat levels, timing, and consistency across services
  • Prepare and handle marinades with attention to balance, depth, and ingredient integrity
  • Work closely with the culinary team to ensure alignment with Raani’s standards of presentation and flavour
  • Uphold strict hygiene, safety, and operational protocols

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience working with a traditional tandoor in a professional kitchen
  • Strong technical understanding of tandoor heat management and cooking dynamics
  • Proficiency in both classic breads and protein/vegetable preparations
  • A disciplined, detail-oriented approach with a focus on consistency and refinement
  • Ability to perform in a structured, high-performance kitchen environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
