Duties

  • Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle cash and credit card payments with precision, providing excellent cashiering service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Assist with food handling, storage, and inventory management to minimize waste and ensure safety.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
  • Provide friendly customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly.

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation and food service within a restaurant or food industry setting.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient transaction processing.
  • Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively while maintaining quality standards.
  • Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations.
