Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Food and Beverage Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food service, hospitality, and customer engagement within a vibrant restaurant environment.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS.
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
  • Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times.
  • Assist in food preparation and kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with sanitation standards.
  • Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
  • Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, special requests, and resolving issues promptly.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is required.
  • Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours.
  • Familiarity with food industry standards, food handling, and serving protocols.
  • Kitchen experience or hospitality background is a plus.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
