Full job description

Sankalp Restaurant is looking for an experienced North Indian Cook who is skilled in both North Indian curries and tandoor cooking. The ideal candidate should be able to prepare authentic Indian dishes while maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, cleanliness, and food safety.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare a variety of North Indian curries, gravies, and appetizers.
  • Operate and manage the tandoor for naan, roti, kulcha, and tandoori dishes.
  • Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet restaurant standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the kitchen.
  • Manage inventory and assist with stock control.
  • Work efficiently during busy service periods.
  • Follow recipes and portion control guidelines.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 years of experience in a North Indian restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of North Indian curries, gravies, and tandoor cooking.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
